Peter Gajdics has been published internationally in Maclean's, The Advocate, New York Tyrant, The Gay and Lesbian Review / Worldwide, Gay Times, Cosmonauts Avenue, The Seattle Lesbian, Brevity, Manhattan Book Review, and Opium, among others. He is a recipient of writers grants from Canada Council for the Arts and the British Columbia Arts Council, a fellowship from The Summer Literary Seminars, and an alumni of Lambda Literary Foundation's "Writers Retreat for Emerging LGBT Voices." The Inheritance of Shame: A Memoir, Peter's first book about his six-year journey through and eventual recovery from a form of conversion therapy, was published May 16, 2017, by Brown Paper Press. Peter lives in Vancouver, Canada, but dreams of his soul homeland, Budapest.
